The Heatkiller IV Pro AM4 cooler in detail
With the Heatkiller IV Pro AM4 cooler, the name says it all: Watercool does everything to cool your AMD Ryzen processor with AM4 socket optimally with water. They improve their design by increasing or rearranging the flow and cooling structure. The goal is to dissipate heat dedicatedly so that your CPU achieves the best temperatures.

Cooling capacity made in Germany
The Heatkiller IV Pro AM4 has very fine fins to increase the surface area and thus ensure better heat dissipation. This is where the maximum doesn't end. Because the nozzle and the collection channel are also larger and thus prevent blockages.

The nozzle is integrated into the lid. The cooler is therefore flat and does not take up much space in your PC case. In addition, this improves the flow of the coolant.

The acrylic glass lid, which gives you a look at your coolant, completes the design in terms of functionality.

Easy to install
Watercool has developed an easy-mount system, which makes the installation of the cooler child's play. It not only simplifies the process, but also makes it possible to dismantle and reassemble it at any time after the initial assembly without tools. A fixed stop on the mounting bracket - done! Your Heatkiller IV Pro AM4 is installed. So if you are afraid that you have applied it incorrectly or if you want to renew the thermal paste, remove it and click on it again.

Gone from the first EKWB Quantam Velocity with Thermal Grizzly Hydronaut to this with Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut Extreme on a Ryzen 5950x and I've lost 8 - 10c on rendering and Handbrake which use to average 160-180w is now averaging 170-190w and the high spikes in temperature are no longer occuring on the same workloads.

These numbers were gathered at 22c ambient room temps on beoth tests. D5 pump speed averages 30% till 47c on the CPU and then gradually goes upto 55% at 60c. Fan RPM is about 1000-1300 in gaming and when doing handbrake and rendering was 750 RPM.

Averages before were 77 - 78c and would spike upto 86-88c
Now averages are 67 - 71c with spikes upto 74c

Gaming
Cyberpunk was 66 - 70c now 60 - 63c
Ark Survival Evolved was 60 - 63c now 58 - 60c.

The liquid temperature changes more aggressively than before, meaning the heat transfer is more efficient than before which is due to both the block and thermal paste. I very much recommend this block
