The Alta G1M from Silverstone convinces with a simple and tidy look that offers the view of the essentials of a chic computer: the hardware. The mesh front and the pre-installed 180 mm fan on the floor provide a generous airflow with chimney effect. Fresh air is drawn into the case from below and fed into the vertically installed graphics card and the motherboard. The motherboard, which may be in either Mini-ITX or Micro-ATX format, is installed with the I / O ports facing upwards. For this purpose, two mesh-protected 120 mm fans can be attached to the back of the Silverstone Alta G1M.

Underneath, the SFX power supply is mounted. Innovative is the modular layout of the right side implemented with the help of a bracket. Either three 120 fans or a radiator up to 360 mm in size can be attached to it. If you need more storage space instead, you can attach two 2.5- or 3.5-inch data carriers there and on the back.

Cleverly designed interior
The front, like the lid and the right side panel, is provided with a large mesh with dust filter. Behind it, the graphics card is installed vertically with the addition of an optional riser cable. The fans of the up to 355 mm long and 165 mm wide graphics card conduct the waste heat through the front. The cables are led outwards through a recess at the top. The same applies to cables that are connected to the I / O ports of the motherboard. Two USB-A and one USB-C port, as well as a 3.5mm audio jack, adorn the Silverstone Alta G1M's I / O panel, which is located at the bottom left of the front.

The internal layout allows the narrow design of the entire
housing. The perforations of the mesh panels are kept pleasantly small. The left side panel is made of one piece and thus contributes to the simple but high-quality look. All panels can be removed quickly and effortlessly to enable convenient installation of high-end hardware.
