Noctua is one of the well-known names in the silent cooling sector, with the Austrian manufacturer's CPU coolers in particular enjoying an excellent reputation. The self-developed fans from Noctua, which are also available separately to serve as case or CPU fans, are largely responsible for this.

The NF-A14 is a premium 140mm silent fan with a square AAO (Advanced Acoustic Optimization) frame. Its square shape and 140mm mounting holes make it an excellent choice for use on water-cooling radiators or as a case fan. Thanks to advanced aerodynamic design measures such as Flow Acceleration Channels, the NF-A14 achieves even better silent cooling performance than the multiple award-winning NF-P14.

The PWM version is equipped with Noctua's specially designed NE-FD1 IC for fully automatic speed control and comes with a low-noise adapter that allows the maximum speed to be reduced from 1,500 to 1,200 rpm. Its performance-oriented maximum speed and the extensive options for speed control make the NF-A14 PWM a top solution for users who want to achieve a perfect balance between excellent cooling performance and super smooth running - regardless of whether on water cooling radiators, heat sinks or for case ventilation!

Noctua's NF-P14 has become a standard solution for PC enthusiasts who require premium quality 140mm fans. Thanks to far-reaching aerodynamic optimization, the NF-A14 achieves even higher static pressure than its well-known predecessor, as well as a further improved ratio of delivery capacity and noise development.

With its square frame and 140 mounting holes (124.5 mm hole spacing), the NF-A14 is an ideal premium upgrade for standard 140 mm case fans. At the same time, it is perfect for use on 140 mm water cooling radiators, where the square shape guarantees complete coverage of the cooling fins and thus the best pressure performance.

The impeller of the NF-A14 is equipped with so-called Flow Acceleration Channels on the suction side. By accelerating airflow in the critical outer regions of the fan blades, suction-side vortex shedding is reduced, resulting in higher efficiency and lower turbulence-related noise emissions.

Noctua's AAO (Advandced Acoustic Optimization) frames have integrated vibration buffers as well as a stepped inlet area (Stepped Inlet Design) and an inner microstructure (Inner Surface Microstructures), which enable even better performance/noise efficiency.

The anti-vibration pads made of extra-soft silicone reduce the transmission of the smallest vibrations and are also compatible with all standard screws and commercially available mounting systems or fan clips used with CPU coolers.

In order to guarantee the greatest possible degree of manufacturing precision, minimal tolerances and excellent long-term stability, the NF-A14 uses a CNC-milled brass bearing shell. The NF-A14 is equipped with the further optimized second generation of Noctua's proven SSO bearing system. With SSO2, the rear magnet sits closer to the fan axis for even better stabilization, resulting in further improved precision and durability.
