The Thermaltake Core X31 TG Tempered Glass Midi-Tower is perfect for the installation of a custom water cooling, which is not only the optimal cooling for extreme gaming hardware, but also visually a true view. Compensating tanks and pumps can be easily installed in the Core X31 TG and radiators are available in the front and lid. Especially when the graphics card is mounted vertically, a cooling block with color-coded coolant and LED-illuminated cooling block is particularly effective!

Up to 420 mm long graphics cards can be installed in the tower when the HDD cage is installed, the lower PCI slots are limited to a maximum length of 278 mm for plug and expansion cards. Terms of use and radiators can also limit the maximum length for graphics cards, since cooling blocks for water coolers are usually shorter than the standard coolers, but this is not a problem. This makes gaming monsters with multi-GPU setup possible .

Both the front and the top provide room for 280 and 360 mm radiators, while 120 and 140 radiators can be installed in the bottom and rear. Suppliers of classic cooling by air can plan CPU coolers up to a height of 180 mm and look forward to the possibility of installing up to eight fans. The top offers space for three 120 / 140mm fans or two 200mm diameter units, while the front can accommodate two 120 / 140mm fans or a 200er fan. The back and bottom provide room for 120 or 140 fans.

Over two 5.25-inch drive bays in the front mesh area can access appropriate drives. If there is no need for ODDs, the drive carriers can either be equipped with a 3.5-inch HDD or two 2.5-inch SSDs or completely removed.
