The last-mentioned group also includes the G29 from Logitech, which undoubtedly represents the limit of technical and haptic feasibility in this area. Accordingly, the advantages of this exceptional steering wheel are not only accessible through an enormous range of functions, but also through a touch quality that is second to none.

With the first grip, your hands enjoy the hand-sewn leather - soft, grippy and perforated for better ventilation. Immediately you feel as if you are in the cramped space of a racing car, you can almost feel the 6-point seat belt and smell the oily smell. When driving around the high-quality rim, bulges are noticeable, which provide an even better grip. Behind the steering wheel are two paddles for friends of sequential gearshifts - made of solid metal, of course, which reinforces the impression of high durability.

The second component of the G29 is a 3-way pedal set. Metal? Compulsory! Logitech has even thought of details such as varying degrees of firmness, which means that the accelerator pedal is softer, the brake and clutch harder. The central control unit is the steering wheel, which is connected to the PS4, PS3 or the computer via USB. Shift levers and pedals are in turn connected to the steering wheel.

A central feature of the G29 is a multi-level and, if necessary, very strong force feedback effect. Thus, with the appropriate software, the gradual loss of grip in the curve can be "felt" very sensitively in order to explore the limit range with this driving style.

However, this is only one detail in a whole series that ultimately have only one goal: to ensure the most realistic driving experience possible. And regardless of whether arcade or simulation - like with Logitech's G29, racing fans have never ridden any other racing wheel on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 or the PC!
