Koolance backplate for Geforce GTX 980 Ti and Titanium X VGA Coolers [ACC-PLTNXTTNX]

Overview

Water cooling is usually offer not only excellent performance, but also allow an individual design. Style and function are therefore asked at appropriate watercooling components alike. Koolance has now designed for their own cooler VID NXTTNX for graphics cards of the type NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980 Ti and Titanium X in the reference design a useful extension that combines both aspects. The back plate can only be used in connection with said condenser and is screwed onto the back of the pixel accelerator. As this page is typically turned upward and thus highly visible in the housing, a visual upgrade can be very useful here.

In addition to the visual upgrade also features the black backplate made of aluminum with their three-dimensional structure of a higher stability. Is effectively prevented so that the one-sided PCB due to tightening of the screws to bend at the mounting of the main cooler and thereby is exposed to constant stress. In addition, the aluminum helps to increased passive cooling the graphics card back.

The backplate is not compatible with the graphics card cooler Original, is not traversed by water, is not intended primarily as a heat sink and can not be used individually. However, it is used without restriction in connection with the coolers of the type VID NXTTNX from Koolance. The screws needed are included. These are longer than the original screws, because they are screwed through the backplate and the PCB with the main cooler.
