Visually, the wireless Creative Sound Blaster Tactic3D Rage Wireless V2.0 comes in black with red accents therefore. The design is designed so that the individual components of the gaming headsets almost seamlessly into one another and let the headset as act of a piece. Sound Blaster logo and the model name Tactic 3D are engraved in the temple, the side is emblazoned in red lettering of Rage. Disguised earcups and leatherette strap increase comfort.

As a special feature, the color of the ear cover itself can be selected - and from legendary 16 million colors. Thus, the Rage USB V2.0 can be perfectly adapted to individual tastes. Simply connect the gaming headset via a USB dongle to the PC and configure via software. Creative Labs was one of the first manufacturers, the sound cards have been specially designed for gamers. It is therefore not surprising that in the software not only the color but also extensive sound options can be adjusted at will, including settings for virtual 7.1 output.

The Creative Sound Blaster Tactic3D Rage Wireless V2.0 is compatible with PC, Mac and PlayStation 4. The noise-canceling microphone is removable and has a 3.5-mm stereo plug. Beside it is a button to mute the microphone. On the other ear sits the volume control and the power button. One battery charge is sufficient for about 16 hours. To charge serves an included micro-USB to USB cable (1.8 m). During charging, the headset can still be used.
