The Coolermaster MasterCase Pro 5 offered in the NVIDIA edition is almost the middle of the expansion stage ?? The case, which has two rubber feet, has a large mesh grille with a coarse mesh surface in honeycomb form behind it, which is particularly impressive in combination with the LED fans installed behind it. The front panel is far from the chassis, which is achieved by the use of angled elements on the sides and above the mesh surface. The upper, angled front panel also houses the I / O panel, which is equipped with two audio ports and USB 3.0 ports.

Through the mesh top cover? Between the carrying handles the front design is partly reflected on the lid, so that a very successful overall impression arises. The large window in the left-hand side of the window offers a glimpse of the core of the MasterCase 5 series: the modular interior. A power supply cover with rubberized cable grommets separates the power supply in the ground and a removable HDD bay for two drives from the rest of the interior. In addition to the cable entries, there are also holes on the cover for two holders for 2.5-inch SSDs.

Alternatively, these two brackets, which are equipped with thumb-screws, can be mounted behind the mainboard tray. The two 5.25-inch drive bays can be removed when not needed, while the HDD cage can be vertically moved up or down for three HDDs / SSDs, or completely removed. This modularity allows the installation of up to 412 mm long graphics cards when no drive cage is in the way and even with HDD cage remain up to 296 mm for one or more graphics cards.

The three preinstalled 140 mm fans in the front (2x) and the rear (1x) ensure good airflow, especially with remote drive bays, and CPU coolers can be up to 190 mm high. With a further optional 120/40 mm fan in the front as well as the option of installing two fans of this size in the cover, this good airflow can be further improved. For water cooling, radiators can be installed in the front (max 240/280 mm), the cover (max 240 mm) and the back (120/140 mm).

As a special feature the Coolermaster MasterCase Pro 5 lacks the strings between the seven PCI screens so that any exhaust air openings of a graphics card can function without hindrance. Cable management is 25 mm behind the MB tray and dust filters in the floor, lid and front are part of the large package of features of the MasterCase Pro 5.
