Overview

This small, chic Newton-T chassis was done by Akasa to accommodate Intel's groundbreaking miniaturized complete systems called NUC (Next Unit of Computing), which therefore come in their own, shaped by Intel Form Factor UCFF (Ultra Compact Form Factor). Specifically for the Intel-board type DE3815TYBE is the Newton (here as an OEM version without brand logo) represents the ideal dwelling.

Can so tiny really be a computer? This is probably the first question that arises at NUC Intel motherboards. And the straight answer is: yes, even with an integrated, high-performance CPU. For precisely the same systems the Newton-T chassis of Akasa has been developed which can be used either lying flat or directly to VESA mounts the monitor. Specifically tailored to the said NUC boards, it is very space-saving and especially flat build, but brings in addition to these purely practical viewpoint, a very elegant appearance on the table or behind the monitor:

A brushed aluminum face makes the black Akasa Newton to a restrained and yet stylish genuine contemporaries, who thus submits itself wonderfully as a HTPC dwelling in every hi-fi landscape. The front is broken only by a USB 3.0 port, the obligatory power button and a status LED.

Top and outer edges are almost completely provided with aluminum cooling fins, which has its meaning is that the case itself is the cooler here and completely fanless. That is, the NUC system works in Akasa Newton T completely silent. For the Atom CPU and a contact surface of the housing to come into direct contact.

For ideal heat transfer thermal compound is supplied. In addition, VESA Mounting screws, motherboard Screws, rubber feet and all necessary cables and accessories are included to take the mini system in operation (external power supply must be purchased separately!)
