The set is designed as a 2.1 speaker system with two satellites, a subwoofer and a control unit (power amplifier). The advantage of this separation is especially the smaller footprint on the desk, because the woofer is placed on the floor and found the two satellites and amplifier ideally on the desk place. Thanks to variable connections the Ballista Trinity is next to the PC for various game consoles, TVs and DVD players.

AVerMedia is their speakers on a very eye-catching futuristic appearance, the red-black design looks very cool and looks great in a gaming environment also red accents.

High quality components, the speakers produce excellent values in the low and mid tone frequencies. The 48 watt subwoofer is supported by two 3-way satellites, each with 14.5 watts, equivalent to a total output of 77 watts. Especially when playing typical noise as extreme basses, explosions, shots and high tones, such as at swordplay, the Ballista Trinity achieved outstanding results.

The control unit also contained in set (also known as end stage) connects the speakers to each other and using the knob allows a quick adjustment of volume, bass and treble. It also has a dial to select the audio input, the power button, the Assassin-mode button and connection options for a headset and microphone. The Assassin mode serves for sound stabilization and ensures tonal balance with especially loud also quiet conditions.
