Inno3D GeForce GTX 1080 Gaming OC with dual fan cooler

The Inno3D GeForce GTX 1080 Gaming OC has a base clock of 1.708 MHz. With GPU-Boost 3.0 it can be boosted to a boost rate of 1.847 MHz. The storage clock is at 5,000 MHz (effectively 10,000 MHz) MHz.

The Inno3D GTX 1080 is equipped with an in-house dual-fan radiator design to keep the temperature at bay. Several heatpipes guide the heat from the GPU into an aluminum cooling block, on which two large axial fans provide ventilation. The two slots high cooling solution is a very quiet alternative to the reference layout and works very efficiently.

GeForce GTX 1080: Maximum gaming power for VR and 4K!

The 8GB GDDR5X video memory of the GTX 1080 is connected to the GPU via a 256-bit memory interface, which achieves a memory bandwidth of 320 GB / s. In addition to the video memory, the 2.560 CUDA cores of the GP104 graphics chip are responsible for the brutal gaming power of the GeForce GTX 1080.

The GTX-1080 graphics card family supports DirectX 12 and current gaming technologies, including NVIDIA GameWorks, Warp, Stereo-X, VR-Audio, PhysX and SMP (Simultaneous Multi-Projection). The latter is supported in version 4.0 and offers great advantages, especially for VR, curved displays and multi-display setups.

Several monitors were viewed by games as a kind of broad monitor, rendering the GPU just a viewport and creating distortions. Thanks to SMP, Pascal now supports 16 simultaneous viewports, which allow a much more realistic display on several monitors, on curved displays or in 3D operation.

Especially VR benefits from the new technology, because two viewports can be rendered in one run. By using multiple viewports, the rendered image also comes with a smaller number of calculated pixels, which greatly improves VR performance.

Despite the extremely high computing power and memory expansion with 8GB GDDR5X, the GeForce GTX 1080 works with a TDP of only 180 watts, which is compared to the direct predecessor GTX 980 only 15 watts more – at significantly higher speed. Thanks to the revised power supply of the GTX 1080 PCB, the new five-phase power supply (in the reference layout) of the GPU and the various improvements to the PCB increase the energy efficiency compared to the GTX 980 by a whopping six percent.

The GeForce GTX 1080 has state-of-the-art connections. A total of three DisplayPort 1.4 and an HDMI 2.0b connection are available for an image transmission of 4K / Ultra HD resolutions at 60 hertz, the latter having HDCP 2.2 and thus able to send and receive encrypted signals (4K-Blu -Rays / 4K streams). Alternatively, the GTX 1080 has a DVI-D (dual-link) output.

In order to exploit the full potential of the card in the future, new drivers from NVIDIA or Inno3D should be downloaded and installed at regular intervals.

Graphics card exchange without waiting for Caseking!

During the warranty period of two years from the receipt of the goods, the customer complains that the graphics card complained about in the event of a defect of all the brands mentioned below is directly exchanged for new goods (if stored). A request of the defective goods to the manufacturer and associated longer waiting times are thus completely eliminated! If the graphic card to be replaced is no longer available or available, we will issue a credit note. Then an alternative graphics card from our range can be selected freely. Any extra costs incurred can be easily reimbursed and any remaining amounts will be refunded by us.
