The mounting mechanisms was also revised and changes significantly. On the kryos metal versions we are now using a mount which makes it possible to tighten the screws differently or to over-tighten the. With the special knurled screws we have now implemented a defined end point. The top-of-the-line version with nickel-plated top is now also shipped including a backplate with rubber insulation.

The cuplex kryos is offered in 3 different versions:
The high-performance version cuplex kryos XT is for users who wish to get the last 1/10th of a degree our of their system. It is equipped with a nickel-plated top and the new elaborate mounting mechanism including the backplate offers great looks and maximum cooling performance.

The cuplex kryos pro differs by the pure brass top plate and the fact that the backplate is not included. The performance is identical to the XT version.

As an even more affordable entry version we offer the cuplex kryos Delrin. On this waterblock the top plate is made from Delrin and the mounting system is taken from the cupley XT di. To give you an idea: The cooling performance of the Delrin version on a i7-960 on our testing rig falls back by about 0.3 degreesC to 0.5 degreesC compared to the other versions. Hence this waterblock allows you to have one of the most powerful waterblocks available at an extremely affordable price!

For those users looking for something truly special we offer a special cuplex kryos .925 siler edition during the launch. As the name says the cooling plate on this waterblock is made from solid .925 Sterling silver. The thermal conductivity hence lies an additional 10% above the other versions and hence allows even better results. The added price on this version is, due to the high silver prices, 120€ over the cuplex kryos xt, but in todays time you can be sure to have a safe investment and, at least to our knowledge, the best CPU waterblock in the world.
