Shadow Rock Slim 2: powerful and quiet
The be quiet! Shadow Rock Slim 2 offers a cooling capacity of max. 160 watts TDP and is therefore also suitable for powerful desktop processors from Intel and AMD's portfolio. Four heat pipes made of copper with a diameter of six mm each, which lie directly on the CPU, ensure efficient heat dissipation.
The heat pipes conduct the waste heat to 53 aluminum fins. These are cooled by a 135 mm fan from the manufacturer's Silent Wings 3 series. Thanks to the flow-optimized fan blades and PWM signal, this ensures the right balance between smoothness and performance. At a maximum speed of 1,400 rpm, it is still very quiet with a volume of 23.7 dB (A).
The cover plate of the be quiet! Shadow Rock Slim 2 is made of brushed aluminum. The asymmetrical design of the heat sink ensures that the memory banks are not covered and that this cooler works in combination with RAM modules of any height. The mounting system of the 16 cm high CPU cooler is suitable for the Intel sockets 1200, 2066, 1160, 1151, 1155 and 2011 (-3) as well as the AMD sockets AM4 and AM3 (+).
