Modular interior design with many options for the user
The chic midi tower accommodates motherboards in the form factors E-ATX, ATX, Micro-ATX and Mini-ITX, whereby the motherboard tray can be flexibly adjusted to the needs and individual requirements of the user. This means it can also be installed on the left side of the case for a redefined airflow or inverted optics. If necessary, it can even be removed completely and could serve as Benchtable. The drive slots can also be completely customized to give the user complete freedom of choice over the interior design of the Dark Base 700 White Edition.

In addition to the modular configuration options, be quiet! Neat space in the case, because the Dark Base 700 White Edition takes a maximum of seven 3.5-inch and / or seventeen 2.5-inch drives, the latter sharing the slots. The drives are installed without tools in the individual slots, which are completely decoupled via silicone anti-vibration rails and therefore prevent transmission of vibrations to the cages. In addition, the slots can be removed individually, thus allowing the option of increased space for graphics cards or water cooling.

The space available for the rest of the hardware is particularly abundant, because graphics cards can be installed up to a length of 286 mm. Without HDD slots, this space even expands to a whopping 430 mm. CPU coolers in the Dark Base 700 are allowed to be a maximum of 180 mm high and power supplies 285 mm long.

Elegant design thanks to tempered glass side windows & LED lighting
The design of the Dark Base 700 White Edition remains as in the previous models of the Dark Base series in an elegant and chic look, which leaves a high-quality first impression. The stylish fully glazed side window made of tinted tempered glass, allows an impressive view of the hardware. The closed front and lid, however, are covered by brushed aluminum. The pinholes of the side louvers are decorated in black and accentuate in addition to the pre-installed black fans the otherwise held in white color housing.

Of course, such a housing should be skilfully staged, which is exactly why two LED strips are incorporated into the front of the housing. These can be set via a switch on the I / O panel. Six colors (white, red, green, blue, orange, purple) and three modes (monochrome, pulsation, color change) are available. Alternatively, a sync with the RGB control of a motherboard is possible.

Sophisticated cooling concept for air or water cooling
Two 140mm SilentWings 3 PWM fans are pre-installed in the Dark Base 700 White Edition, two on the front and one on the back. The fans rotate at a maximum of 1,600 rpm and are particularly quiet thanks to a low-vibration motor, a durable Fluid Dynamic bearing and a fan frame with funnel-shaped air inlets. The Airflow concept of the Dark Base 700 White Edition Midi Tower, however, also relies on innovative noise-reducing air openings around the housing, which can be achieved even more effective air flow. To further increase the silent factor, the case also features front, lid and left side panel insulation, as well as decoupling elements on the motherboard tray, power supply tray and drives.

The air cooling can also be expanded as desired. The lid can accommodate a maximum of three 140 mm or 120 mm fans, the designated bracket can be pulled out laterally for easy installation. The floor accommodates a 140mm or 120mm fan, and two more 120 or 140 fans can also be installed in the front. Of course you can also install radiators for water cooling at these locations. The front offers space for a maximum of a 360 mm radiator, as well as the lid. On the back there is room for a 140er-radiator. Of course, several smaller radiators can also be installed instead of the larger one.

Thanks to the integrated fan control, a maximum of six PWM fans can be controlled. This ensures an optimal air flow that can be adjusted according to the needs of the user. In order to protect the built-in hardware inside the housing from dirt and dust, there are removable dust filters in the front and in the floor.

Other features of the Dark Base 700 White Edition include an I / O panel with two USB 3.0 ports and a USB 3.1 Gen2 Type C port as well as HD audio ports for headphone and microphone. In addition, a total of nine expansion slots for extensive gaming hardware are available.
