Zalman gives the Z7 Neo a chic two-tone interior in black with white highlighted mainboard tray. At the bottom is a black power supply cover for power supplies up to 18 centimeters long with a modular drive cage for two 3.5- or 2.5-inch drives. Two additional 2.5-inch SSDs can be mounted on the back of the motherboard tray.

The tidy interior of the Midi Tower is illuminated by four 120-millimeter fans with seven-color RGB LED lighting. They are equipped with white dispersion rings and are controlled by a RGB LED controller on the back of the mainboard tray. This is connected to a dedicated button on the I / O panel and can also be connected to compatible motherboards via a 4-pin RGB connection in order to address the connected peripherals via software. In total, eight RGB LED fans with proprietary 6-pin connectors and two RGB LED strips with 4-pin connectors (12 V) can be connected to the RGB LED controller.

Versatile cooling options
The Zalman Z7 Neo offers a variety of options for installing a water cooling system: The lid holds up to 240 mm radiator space and in the front of a 360 model can be installed. When using air coolers, two 140mm or 120mm fans can be mounted in the lid to the four 120mm front and rear fans already installed. Processor coolers must not exceed a height of 165 millimeters. At the top, a large magnetic filter protects against the ingress of dust.
