At the highest level, you run your fan at a voltage of ~ 11V and at the lowest setting at ~5V. When operating at 5V, the noise is very low, but you should keep in mind that by lowering the operating voltage decreases the capacity of the fan.

With the Zalman FAN MATE 2 of the operation of fans with a maximum of 6 watts ofinput power is possible. Fan with a höherne power can not be operated with this control.The speed signal from a connected fan is transmitted over the 3-pin molex cable to the motherboard and can be read with diagnostic software or the BIOS.
