The ViewSonic M2: A playful short-distance projector
The ViewSonic M2 has a maximum resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels at 60 Hz. The short-distance projector is designed for distances from 90 cm to 220 cm to the screen and produces an image with a diagonal of 24 to 100 inches (60.96 to 254 cm). The luminosity required for this is 1200 ANSI lumens.

The projector supports the display of 1.073 billion colors and HDR content so that the output content still looks lifelike. The Rec. 709 color space is mapped to 125 percent. The automatic perspective correction ensures a distortion-free display, even if the projector is sometimes not at right angles to the projection surface.

Connections and equipment
The full HD projector receives an image signal via an HDMI 2.0 input with HDCP and a USB-C port, which can be used to connect compatible smartphones, tablets, gaming PCs and notebooks to the corresponding outputs. The USB 3.0 Type-A connector can be used with USB storage drives.

The ViewSonic M2 also has a microSD card reader, for example to present image and video material from a smartphone or a camera on the projector. In addition, the M2 offers the option of wirelessly transmitting screen contents from mobile devices to the projector using screen mirroring.

To enjoy entertainment content, the ViewSonic M2 is equipped with integrated speakers from Harman Kardon, which output clear sound. The ViewSonic M2 is also suitable for playing 3D content. Corresponding shutter glasses can be purchased separately.
