The GP XID Pro is based on the layout of the buttons and sticks on the now very popular Xbox controller. Thanks to the Xinput protocol, GP XID Pro does not require its own drivers for operation under Windows - true plug-and-play.

Thrustmaster has adopted the ideal ergonomics of the Xbox controllers in the sleek GP XID Pro. The two analogue 16-bit mini-sticks are easily accessible with the thumb of the respective hand and can be operated effortlessly. The rubberized and concave surface has four pimples that make it easier to orientate even in the most heated battle. The transparent orange triggers are also designed over a large area, which is accompanied by improved precision and control. The other buttons are grippy and reachable without cumbersome and time-consuming change of hand position. Striking is the orange illuminated Xbox button.

By eliminating vibration motors, the GP XID Pro is extremely lightweight and feels good in the hand thanks to its slightly grained surface. Even without vibration, all buttons give noticeable tactile feedback when triggered. The GP XID Pro is connected via a stylish braided cable via USB 2.0 or higher on the PC. Thanks to the universal Xinput protocol used, no additional drivers are required under Windows. The buttons are all automatically configured with their corresponding functions.
