The Leadex III platform works under the hood for all models with a nominal output of 550 to 850 watts - naturally from our own development and production. Compared to the predecessor, the volume of the fan and thus the noise emissions of the entire power supply have been significantly reduced because the fans use fluid dynamic bearings. With the switch on the back you can choose between two different cooling modes.
Due to the low fan speed and the FDB bearing, the power supply remains extremely quiet even during active operation. Compared to classic ball bearings, FDB bearings work much quieter and clearly outperform simple plain bearings in terms of service life.
High efficiency and independent voltage regulation
All Leadex III Gold are 80 PLUS Gold certified and are guaranteed to achieve over 92 percent efficiency at medium loads. With a low load of 20 percent, at least 90 percent efficiency is achieved, with a full load it is at least 89 percent. This means that third-generation Leadex power supplies will clearly be among the most economical voltage converters in the future.
To achieve the high level of efficiency, Super Flower uses the latest technology: Like its predecessors, the Leadex III platform relies on LLC resonance conversion in the primary area and DC-DC downconversion for the + 3.3 and + 5 volt rails , This form of independent voltage regulation means that the output voltages always remain close to the setpoint, even in demanding test scenarios (e.g. asymmetrical loading). If required, the entire nominal power can be called up as a + 12 volt voltage. In combination with the low ripple, Leadex III are therefore particularly suitable for demanding configurations and overclocking projects.
State-of-the-art technology and high-quality components
When assembling semiconductors and capacitors, Super Flower relies on top quality: only 105-degree electrolytic capacitors from Japanese brands and polymer-solid capacitors are used on the main circuit board. In addition, 105-degree electrolytic capacitors from Taiwanese A brands are used on the connection board for modular cable management. In combination with the sophisticated fan control and the long-life FDB fan, the average life expectancy exceeds 100,000 hours. With protection against overvoltage and undervoltage (OVP, UVP), short circuit (SCP), overload (OPP), overheating (OTP) and overcurrent (OCP on the + 3.3 and + 5 volt rail) the Leadex III switches in an emergency, always to protect valuable hardware (and yourself) from damage. As with all other Leadex power supplies, Super Flower relies on fully modular cable management and completely black cables. In this way, only the cable harnesses that are actually required are connected to the power supply. The 850 watt model offered here already has extensive cable equipment: in addition to the 20 + 4-pin connector for the mainboard, there are two 4 + 4-pin connectors for the processor and three cables with a total of six 6 + 2-pin connectors -PCIe connectors ready for the graphics cards. Stylish RGB LED lighting
The Super Flower Leadex III ARGB Gold power supplies offer extensive RGB lighting that shines through the fan openings and the transparent connections of the white power supply. It offers a total of 16 lighting modes that can be selected using a button on the power supply. Synchronization with compatible motherboards from ASUS, Gigabyte, ASRock and MSI is also possible. For this purpose, the power supply is connected to a digital 3-pin RGB header (5V) on the main board.
