With the SX1000, Silverstone offers an extremely powerful power supply in the compact SFX-L form factor. This was designed for small PC cases with little storage space. With its enormous nominal power and its small size, the Silverstone SX1000 enables extremely high-performance SFF builds. The subtle aluminium housing and the flat and flexible cables of the SX1000 ensure a minimalist and elegant appearance.
The 120 mm fan works effectively to cool the compact power supply unit at a maximum volume of 36 db (A). Thanks to the semi-passive mode, it only starts turning when performance is required. The wireless internal design also contributes to improved cooling performance and component life expectancy. In addition, the SX1000 has a very powerful + 12 V single rail, which with 83.3 A is ideal for high-end components and overclocking.
Very high efficiency & fully modular cable management
The SX1000 provides a full 1,000 W of continuous power and thus offers sufficient power even for extremely power-hungry systems. Only first-class electronics are used to achieve the high degree of efficiency of 94%. The high-end power supply unit relies exclusively on high-quality Japanese capacitors, which means that very little electrical energy is lost in the form of waste heat.
The connection portfolio also leaves little to be desired. It has a fully modular design, which guarantees maximum flexibility and enables convenient installation in small housings. Even server boards with two CPU sockets and the need for two 8-pin EPS connections are no problem. A total of six PCIe connectors with 6 + 2-pin are available for the graphics cards. The peripherals are just as generous with eight SATA, three 4-pin and one floppy connector.
