The SST-SX550 PSU differs mainly by its compact dimensions of classical ATX-energizers, but makes no compromises in performance. Thanks SFX format the Silverstone SST-SX550 is intended primarily for mini-housing, offering high performance with a small footprint. Means exchange aperture (not included), it can also easily be installed in ATX cases.

The extremely high efficiency of the power supply by an average of 87% to 90% was awarded the 80Plus Gold certification and ensures that only relatively little electrical energy is converted into heat. Instead of multiple divide in 12 V cable, this version features a powerful single rail with rich 45 amps and provides several protection features such as OCP (Over Current Protection), OPP (Over Power Protection), OVP (Over Voltage Protection), SCP (Short Circuit Protection) and (OTP) overheating protection.
