Silverstone SST-ST1500-TI Strider 80 Plus Titanium Modular - 1500 Watt [SST-ST1500-TI]

The Titanium series comes with the 80 Plus efficiency certification and come in 600, 700, 800, 1,100, 1,300 and 1,500 watt versions. Thanks to their fully modular design, premium DC-DC technology along with their excellent power output, the model-like models of the SST-ST1500-TI make excellent candidates for gaming PCs.

Silverstone packs modern technology and DC-DC modules for independent down-conversion of the + 3.3- and + 5-Volt lines. 94% efficiency at medium load, but also with its electrical capabilities. The 1.500 Watt model offers 125 A on the single rail. For this reason, the +12 volt line, which is critical in modern applications, can be loaded with almost all rated power output - ideal for fast graphics cards and modern processors. The + 3,3- and +5 Volt rails can be delivered together 120 watts, more than sufficient for numerous drives.

Since Silverstone employs fully modular cabling, all connectors on the Strider Titanium series are removable. In addition to the mandatory 20 + 4-pin and two 4 + 4-pin connectors for dual-CPU configurations, eight 6 + 2-pin graphics card connectors are also available. The 1.100 watt power supply is therefore designed for a CrossFire or SLI setup of multiple high-end graphics cards. In terms of connectivity, 16 SATA, six 4-pin Molex connectors are available as well as a floppy drive connector. Thanks to the modular cable system, only the required cables need to be installed. The result of this is a marked reduction in cable clutter and, with that, less air turbulence and therefore better cooling. The interior of the case also provides benefits in terms of a cleaner look, and so many cases come with side windows today.
