Silverstone SST-RM41-506 Rackmount Server - 4U, black [SST-RM41-506]

In addition to large corporations, telephone companies and computer centers in universities, many medium-sized companies are increasingly using their own servers to store important data, and mobile sound studios in server form are also used at concerts and major events.

A 19-inch rack is a standardized plug-in housing for accommodating several modules whose front panels are 19 inches (approx. 48 cm) wide. Depending on the intended use, these 19-inch modules differ in height and design. The height of the individual modules is specified in U (rack unit) or German HE (height unit), whereby one HE is 1.752 inches (44.45 mm) high.

Silverstone SST-RM41-506: Rackmount server housing for many drives
The Silverstone SST-RM41-506 rackmount server case comes with six external 5.25-inch drive bays. Internally, the case also offers four 3.5-inch and two 2.5-inch bays. An external 5.25-inch SlimLine drive or a 2.5-inch data storage device can also be installed. With its extensive space for storage drives, the SST-RM41-506 is ideal for file servers.

Silverstone has also thought of the dissipation of the heat generated in continuous operation. An 80-millimeter fan can be attached to the centrally positioned 3.5-inch cage to enable direct cooling of the installed hard drives. In addition, two 80 mm fans can be attached to the rear. Two 80 mm PWM fans are already pre-installed ex works.

Main boards in Mini-ITX, Micro-ATX, ATX or SSI-CEB format can be installed on the mainboard carrier. The housing has seven expansion slots in full height. Graphics cards can be up to 20 cm long. A maximum installation height of 148 mm is provided for processor coolers.
