All ArgonTowers are made of an aluminum radiator and several copper heatpipes, which are directly attached to the heat spreader of the processor thanks to HDC technology (Heatpipe Direct Contact) and thereby dissipate their heat into the lamella tower.
Also not to be despised and standard with every Silverstone Argon already included: a blue-white fan with 4-pin PWM connector, which is controlled by a compatible motherboard fully automatically, depending on the CPU usage and heat development. Because Silverstone now has some experience in fan construction, as well as an innovative vibration-damping mounting on the Argon cooler, each fan offers a great balance between air circulation and low-noise operation. All coolers of the series are also compatible with any current motherboard socket from AMD or Intel.
The Argon AR07-V2 offered here is a very powerful tower cooler with three cleverly arranged heatpipes à 8 mm diameter. Into the base, they transport the waste heat into the 14 cm wide and 16.3 cm high radiator block. An eleven-blade, 140-mm fan with plain bearings ensures a proper air flow rate of up to 158 m³ / h at a full speed of 1,500 rpm, thereby not exceeding 30.8 dB (A). It can operate - throttled by pulse width modulation - but also very quietly when it scoops at only 800 rpm with just over 16.5 dB (A) air.
