The Silverstone Argon V2.1 for Intel and AMD sockets has, with its three 8 mm heat pipes and the heat pipe direct contact design, a very good cooling performance with low volume at the same time. The pre-installed 120 mm fan is PWM-controlled and works between 1,500 and 2,500 revolutions per minute. The compact dimensions ensure high compatibility with other components and housings.

The direct-touch heat pipes of the Silverstone Argon V2.1 quickly absorb the heat from the CPU thanks to their cooling surface, which is optimally placed over the cover of the processor, and pass it on to the aluminium cooling fins. There, the heat is given off to the air flowing through the large cooling surface.

This is where the PWM-controlled 120 mm fan comes into play. With its high-quality plain bearing and a speed range of 1,500 to 2,500 revolutions per minute, this ensures optimum cooling performance. The control of the fan via a PWM connection on the mainboard and its aerodynamic rotor blade design contribute to low-noise operation between 18 and 35 dBA.

Thanks to its small footprint, a collision with RAM bars is almost impossible and a backplate increases the stability of the CPU cooler. With the Argon V2.1, Silverstone has again created a very efficient and at the same time extremely quiet CPU cooler with high compatibility.
