These 10 terabytes of data volume (8TB = 8,000GB) of the SkyHawk HDD series are specifically designed for continuous operation and the developers have been particularly focused on the use of video surveillance systems. The hard disk has to fulfill two things: first, it has to work extremely reliably, secondly it has to be fast, in order to record video streams loss-free.
