Scythe SCNJ-5000 Ninja 5 CPU Cooler - 120mm [SCNJ-5000]

Thanks to the two delivered Kaze Flex 120 PWM fans, the noise level during operation has been significantly reduced. The two fans operate in a push-pull process, do not require more than 800 revolutions per minute, yet offer enormous cooling performance. A new fin design ensures that even up to 55 millimeters high RAM modules can be used. In addition, the experts at Scythe have worked on the mounting system, which is now available in the version and has a high compatibility with common sockets from AMD and Intel.

The Scythe Ninja 5 in detail
The design of the fins block allows the mounting of the fans on all four sides also on motherboards with AMD socket. This allows for optimal integration of the Ninja 5 in the air flow of the housing and reduces turbulence and the emergence of hotspot in the housing. The Kaze Flex 120 PWM fans are now used in the pull-push process, so they run almost noiselessly with a maximum load of 800 rpm under load. The fans themselves are designed especially for quiet operation.

The arrangement of the fins on the heat sink has been changed so that higher RAM components fit both left and right under the radiator. Thus, the Scythe Ninja 5 can also be used on motherboards that can accommodate up to eight RAM bars. The mounting system H.P.M.S. in the current version III relies on even easier mounting and increased compatibility, focusing on AMD's AM2, AM2 +, AM3, AM3 +, AM4, FM1, FM2, FM2 + and Intel's 775, 1150, 1151, 1155, 1156, 1366, 2011, 2011-v3, 2066 socket. A little thermal grease for the first use is also included.

Note: Please note that for mounting on motherboards with AMD processor socket the original backplate of the mainboard is needed. Please check before purchase if this is available!
