Details

The Scythe FUMA series has established itself as a low-cost, high-performance CPU cooler. The Scythe SCFM-2000 FUMA 2 CPU cooler achieves a 15% increase in performance over its predecessor and comes with a unique Reverse Jet Flow design.

The Scythe FUMA 2 CPU cooler at a glance:
- Asymmetric tower design with high RAM compatibility
- Six heatpipes with 6 mm diameter each
- 2x 120 mm PWM fan from the Kaze Flex series
- Reverse jet flow design for higher static pressure and better cooling
- 300 - 1,200 revolutions per minute
- 4.0 - 24.9 dB (A) volume
- 28.2 - 86.93 m³ / h air flow
- 0.76 - 1.05 mm H2O Static contact pressure
- High compatibility with AMD and Intel
- Efficient CPU cooling with the Scythe FUMA 2

Like its predecessor, the FUMA 2 has a slightly offset design. Thanks to the six inclined heatpipes, the asymmetrically arranged heat sink does not sit directly above the bottom plate, allowing unrestricted access to the memory banks, which in turn can also accommodate bulky storage latches with large heat sinks. The contact points of the six heatpipes were sensibly distributed over the large aluminum heat sink and, together with twelve risers, provide a high heat transfer capacity.

The enclosed fans are two PWC models from the Kaze Flex range from Scythe with a very wide control range from 300 to 1,200 rpm. The peculiarity: it is about two different thickness fan rotating in the opposite direction. This effect, known as reverse jet flow, provides a higher static pressure and a stable airflow.

Thus, the FUMA 2 from Ultra-Silent to overclocking is prepared for every purpose, after all, it generates just 4 dB (A) at minimum speed and, in return, carries almost 86.93 m³ / h at maximum speed.

The mounting kit provides very high compatibility for AMD and Intel processors. In addition, with its sturdy screw connection, it guarantees a secure fit of the cooler even during transport. Thermal grease and installation instructions are also included.

Technical details:

- Fan 2: 120 mm Kaze Flex PWM (4.0 - 24.9 dB (A), 300 - 1200 rpm, 28.2 - 86.93 m³ / h), 0.076 - 1.05 mmH2O

Scythe Fuma (based on Yasya)

Written By C2A.JT on Mon 17th May 21, 21:08

I'm buying a Fuma 2 for the next build with a BeQuiet PB600 case which has a DVD drive. The Fuma 2 is quieter than any Noctua at the same price point,
If you're building your PC, check the case has enough CPU cooler height. The Fuma 2 will sit clear above the RAM.
The Fuma 2 uses the same silent fans (Kase) as the Scythe Yasya cooler in my old PC, the CPU never got above 55 degrees. I put the Yasya from my old PC in a mini-ATX new build, with an Antec P6 case.
