The pre-installed 120 mm fan with RGB lighting has a height of only 15 millimeters and can optionally be exchanged for a 25 mm high fan for a performance upgrade.

The Scythe Big Shuriken 3 RGB: flat and powerful
The low-profile cooler is ideally suited for mini-ITX and HTPC cases, where flat but powerful coolers are required. Thanks to its clever asymmetrical design, it also achieves maximum compatibility with mainboards and memory modules. The heat sink is aligned in such a way that the fins only extend in one direction in order to cool low RAM modules as well or to avoid large heat spreaders. The orientation can be chosen flexibly.

Thanks to the large cooling surface and five heat pipes, the cooling performance of the 69 mm high top blower is also impressive. This effectively removes the waste heat from the processor so that it can develop its full performance.

The pre-installed fan is a quiet, 120 millimeter slim model with 4-pin PWM connection and static RGB lighting (4-pin / 12 V) from the Scythe Kaze Flex Slim series. With max. 30 dB (A), 300 to 1,800 revolutions per minute and a flow rate of 86.3 m³ / h for its size surprisingly good values. With the PWM signal it can be controlled by the mainboard. The automatic adjustment regulates the fan depending on the power requirement.

Thanks to the "H.P.M.S. III" bracket system, the Big Shuriken 3 RGB is easy to install and sits very firmly and stably on the processor. Computers that are transported regularly also experience greater security. In addition, the mounting kit is suitable for all modern sockets from Intel and AMD.
