Overview

The Samsung S24F356FHU belongs to the class of super-slim displays, which is only 10 mm thick at the thinnest point, while at the same time having a lavish diagonal of 24 inches in 16: 9 format and a corresponding full-HD resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels. Thanks to its Plane-to-Line Switching (PLS) panel developed by Samsung and an improved IPS panel, the same brightness is achieved with significantly lower power consumption and the typical glitter effect of an IPS panel is removed. The contrast is nevertheless in a solid 1,000: 1 and with 16.7 million colors, the monitor thus creates an impressive picture quality.

Thanks to AMD's built-in FreeSync technology, the video refresh rate of the monitor is adjusted to the calculation of the graphics card so that the so-called tearing effect can be eliminated in conjunction with the corresponding AMD graphics card. With a flexible tilt function, you can also view images from different positions and enjoy maximum comfort while working. In addition, the rear of the monitor has a VESA 75x75 cm-compliant mounting fixture, which means that it is easy to install on the appropriate monitor brackets.

The "FlickerFree technology" also reduces the screen flicker, which means that the eyes are spared and working with this monitor leads to much less fatigue. To further reduce this fatigue effect, the "Eye Saver Mode" also reduces the blue light emissions of the image, which usually cause a strong stimulating effect on the retina.

Samsung energy-saving technology also reduces energy consumption and environmental impact. By automatically adjusting the display brightness using the black screen illumination, Samsung's energy consumption can be reduced by up to 10%. Of course the adjustment of the brightness can also be done manually. The S24F356FHU is connected either via HDMI or VGA connection.
