Overview

The Raijintek Thetis Midi-Tower is the larger brother of the already popular Styx Micro ATX case, comes in direct comparison but with some improvements. The enclosure, which is three millimeters higher, can now accommodate mainboards with an ATX form factor and is therefore equipped with a total of seven expansion slots. In addition, the pre-installed 120mm fan has been equipped with a chic LED lighting and the mainboard tray with practical rubber grommets for better cable management. In terms of material selection, the case remains classic and continues to rely on high quality, anodised aluminum, creating a refined and subtle look.

Just like at the Styx, Raijintek now also combines Thetis wonderfully highest design art from Germany with a classic pure look and an attractive price / performance ratio. Externally, the Thetis is distinguished by its simple but elegant design in noble black, which is decorated on the front only by the manufacturer's logo and the illuminated power button. The slim aluminum case for ATX motherboards is made of 1.5 mm thick, anodised aluminum and measures 21.0 cm (width) by 36.6 cm (height without feet) by 36.0 cm (depth). The vertically oriented mainboard is located on a black painted steel partition.

RaiJintek has thus created a good balance between the smallest possible volume and still usable space available for potent hardware in the innovative design of the Thetis, thus combining an attractive flexibility in component selection with a still small footprint. The cleanly designed top (lid) accommodates the specially accessible I / O panel with two USB 3.0 ports as well as audio inputs and outputs. The ventilating concept on the inside provides for fresh air to be sucked in via the opening or an optional 120 mm fan on the ground and waste heat via the pre-installed 120 mm LED fan on the rear as well as two optional 120 mm Ventilator is removed from the cover. In addition, the power supply installed vertically behind the front panel blows in the full-value ATX format its waste heat down from the housing.
