Details
The GDDR5 8GB video memory clocks at 1,750 MHz (effectively 3,500 MHz) and is connected to the GPU (graphics chip) with a 256-bit memory interface. An 8-pin power connector powers the 25.5-cm graphics card, and a power adapter rated 450 watts is recommended for operation.
The features of the PowerColor Radeon RX 570 Red Dragon:
Effective dual-fan cooler
Boost cycle max. 1,250 Mhz
8 GB of GDDR5 video memory
Memory clock of 1,750 MHz (effectively 7,000 MHz)
1 × 8-pin power connector
The AMD Radeon RX 570 in detail
The Radeon RX 570 is AMD's premium HD gaming graphics card from the RX-500 graphics card series, and is particularly appealing to price-conscious gamers when paired with a FreeSync 2 monitor. The Polaris 20 graphics chip of the RX 570 is a "refresh" of the Polaris 10 of the RX 470 and has the same number of shaders (computing units), namely 2.048, as its predecessor. However, thanks to manufacturing optimization, the Radeon RX 570 has higher maximum boost clocks than its equivalent in the RX-400 series.
Based on AMD's fourth-generation GCN architecture and manufactured using the 14nm FinFET LPP process, the Radeon RX 570 has a very low TDP of only 150 watts. Among other things, this is possible due to major leaps in control, power saving and clock technology, especially in direct comparison to the predecessor models such as the Radeon R9 390 with a significantly higher TDP of 250 watts.
The fourth-generation Graphics Core Next (GCN 1.3) architecture introduces features such as a Command processor, a geometry processor, new multimedia cores, an optimized display engine, and an improved memory controller. Other supported technologies include Async Compute, Vulkan, DirectX 12, and AMD's FreeSync 2 technology.
Monitors can be connected to the graphics card via DVI-D, display port or HDMI. EyeFinity technology allows up to four screens to be connected in a multi-display setup. The standard 2.0b HDMI port carries 4K / UHD resolution at 60 Hertz and has HDCP 2.2 for sending and receiving encrypted signals.
In order to exploit the full potential of the card in the future, new drivers from AMD or ASUS should be downloaded and installed at regular intervals.
Graphics card exchange without waiting at Caseking!
During the warranty period of 2 years from the receipt of the goods, Caseking will legitimately exchange end-user complaint graphics cards - ie those with a defect confirmed by us - of all brands mentioned below for new goods (if in stock). A submission of the defective goods to the manufacturer and associated longer waiting times are thus completely eliminated! If the graphics card to be replaced is no longer in stock or deliverable, we will issue a credit note. Afterwards an alternative graphic card from our assortment can be chosen freely. Any additional charges can simply be paid and any remaining amounts will be refunded by us.
