The Evolv Shift Air occupies a very small footprint, but thanks to its interesting layout, it can accommodate powerful gaming hardware in the cleverly designed interior. The Shift Air can alternatively be placed horizontally and cuts a fine figure with its surfaces of aluminum and fine mesh fabric in every living room. The specially developed mesh fabric by PHANTEKS spans all six sides of the stylish housing, so that all components can be supplied with cool fresh air. At the same time it serves as a dust filter.

The Enthoo Evolv Shift Air has room for large, up to 35 cm long gaming graphics cards and is designed according to PHANTEKS for the use of two AiO water coolers, whose radiators may be 120 millimeters in size. With its aluminum and mesh fabric surfaces, the Mini-ITX enclosure blends seamlessly into any designer living environment and can be placed upright like the speakers in the hi-fi sound system or presented lying like a game console. Fresh cool air can pass through the mesh from all sides into the housing, at the same time the mesh is so tight that it also serves as a dust filter.

The graphics card is mounted with the enclosed PCIe x16 riser cable so that either the backplate or the GPU cooler points outwards, depending on your preference. The Mini-ITX motherboard is installed parallel to the graphics card with the back panel upwards. The connections of the I / O panel and the graphics card are hidden under a cover, whereby all connected cables can be routed through a bushing in the back.

Cooling, data storage & more features
Ex works, there is a pre-installed 140mm fan in the Evolv Shift Air, which disposes of the warmed up air at the level of the motherboard over the front or the side parts out of the housing. In addition, waste heat generated by the hardware can escape through the vents in the lid. A 3.5-inch hard drive or 2.5-inch SSD can be mounted on the back and two more SSDs can be placed in the front via the two enclosed SSD holders - at the expense of the lower 140 mm fan. The plate in the back of the SSD / HDD can be removed to facilitate installation of the hardware.

The mini-ITX chassis I / O panel is located on the left rear panel and features two USB 3.0 ports for gaming peripherals or external USB hard drives and USB flash drives. In order to skillfully stage the built-in hardware with RGB LEDs, an RGB controller is integrated into the housing, which can be controlled by pressing a button. In the usual PHANTEKS style, there are also several fixings with Velcro fasteners for cable management and rubberized cable entries in the design housing. In the floor and the ventilation slots of the aluminum covers on the front and back are also dust filters that protect the system from foreign parts.
