PHANTEKS Glacier G30 Aorus incl. Backplate for Gigabyte Aorus RTX 3080/3090: ice-cold cooling and stylish illumination
It is a full-block design that covers all relevant heat sources of the graphics card and thus effectively cools - i.e. the GPU, the memory and the voltage converters. Nickel-plated copper and an optimized channel structure are used to optimally transfer the heat. The lid is made of transparent acrylic glass. The connection terminal has four bores (G1 / 4 inch thread). The included backplate made of black anodized aluminum also ensures efficient passive cooling on the back of the card.

The digitally addressable RGB-LED lighting is equipped with the same RGB connections that are also used in other PHANTEKS products and can be controlled via the RGB-LED controller (if available) of a PHANTEKS housing. A 3-pin connector (5VDG) can be used to connect to corresponding mainboards. Compatibility with the Gigabyte RGB Fusion, ASRock Polychrome Sync, ASUS Aura Sync, MSI Mystic Light and Razer Chroma RGB LED headers is also available.

The sealing ring of the PHANTEKS Glacier G30 Aorus is made of high quality Viton. The material is also used in the aerospace industry. It has an extremely long shelf life and is highly resistant to high temperatures and reactive liquids. All required thermal pads and a tube of thermal paste are already included in the scope of delivery. The thermal pads are specially tailored to the elements to be covered and have exactly the right thickness so that optimal heat transfer takes place.

Why should I use water to cool my graphics card?
Top performance in the graphics card segment is still bought at the price of an equally top heat development. Because only if the clock screw is turned to the stop and the calculation units are used up to the last segment, the decisive advantage over the competing products can be achieved. Smaller structure widths and more efficient layouts can limit this problem, but not completely eliminate it. Because, as expected, the next generation will also be pushed to the max.

The problem is exacerbated by your own overclocking, because the temperatures can reach critical values. In short: If you want a low volume when playing games or even when benching and possibly want to turn the clock screw at the same time, you can hardly avoid water cooling. In addition to the usual components (radiator, pump, expansion tank), a suitable cooler for the graphics card is of course required - like this model from the Wakü specialist PHANTEKS.

Danger! Connections that are not included in the scope of delivery are required for integration into the cooling circuit. The original cooler must be removed before assembly, which invalidates the manufacturer's guarantee! The cooler is only suitable for the Gigabyte GeForce RTX 3080 and 3090 Aorus graphics cards (Xtreme / Master).

Please note that some coolers are delivered with a protective film on the bottom. This must be removed in any case before assembly and commissioning. We do not accept any liability for damage caused by incorrect or incorrect assembly or improper use!
