The Enthoo Evolv Shift X offers space for large, up to 52.9 cm long gaming graphics cards and a 280 mm radiator for high-performance AiO CPU coolers. The design housing is also predestined to accommodate water-cooled silent systems for use in the living room. With its aluminum and hard-glass surfaces, the Mini-ITX case fits seamlessly into any designer living environment and can be positioned like the speakers of the hi-fi sound system standing up or presented like a game console.

The graphics card is mounted with the enclosed PCIe x16 riser card so that depending on the preference either the backplate or the GPU cooler points outwards. The mini-ITX motherboard is installed parallel to the graphics card with the backpanel facing up. The connections of the I / O panel as well as the graphics card are hidden under a cover, whereby all connected cables can be routed through a bushing in the back.
Mini ITX case for custom water cooling

The 280mm radiator, already mentioned, can be mounted on the front of the Enthoo Evolv Shift X under the mainboard and graphic card. At the rear, a SFX (-L) power supply or an ATX-PSU can be installed with restrictions, and the free space between the PSU and front can be used, for example, for the reservoir of a custom water cooling system. Since the AGB is visible on both sides, colored cooling fluids are particularly effective.

The LED lighting integrated in the case is compatible with Aura Sync from ASUS, Gigabyte RGB fusion, and MSI's Mystic Light Sync, and can be changed at the touch of a button to show the hardware installed using RGB LEDs. A support for pumps as well as a power supply cover are included in the Mini-ITX housing.
Cooling, data storage and other features

Ex-factory installed two preinstalled 140 mm fans in the Evolv Shift X and while the fans in the ground air in the tower carried in, the fan disposed at the height of the mainboard the warmed up air beyond the front out of the housing. In addition, waste heat generated by the hardware can escape through the ventilation slots in the cover.

The plate on which the two SSD brackets are mounted without tools can be removed to facilitate the installation of the hardware.

The I / O panel of the Mini ITX chassis is located on the left rear side and provides two USB 3.0 ports for gaming peripherals or external USB hard drives as well as USB sticks. In the familiar Phanteks style there are also several fixings with velcro closures for cable management as well as rubberized cable ducts in the design housing. In the bottom and the ventilation slots of the front and rear aluminum covers are dust filters, which protect the system against foreign objects.
