The MAG B560 Tomahawk WiFi in detail
The MAG B560 Tomahawk WiFi is an ATX mainboard with an Intel B560 chipset and provides a total of two PCIe x16 slots for expansion cards. The upper PCIe slot is connected directly to the CPU with 16 lanes and supports PCIe 4.0, while the lower 3.0 slot is electrically connected to the chipset with 4 lanes. A PCIe 3.0 slot with 4 lanes is available for additional expansion cards.

random access memory
Up to 128 GB DDR4 memory can be operated in four DIMM slots in dual-channel mode. The board natively supports RAM speeds of up to 3,200 MHz. With activated RAM-OC via XMP, the MAG B560 Tomahawk WiFi enables the operation of RAM kits up to 5066 MHz.

Drives
The MAG B560 Tomahawk WiFi offers a total of three M.2 slots for SSDs. One of them is connected directly to the CPU via PCIe 4.0. The other two M.2 slots are connected to the chipset via PCIe 3.0. Six SATA 6G connections are also available for additional SSDs, hard disks and optical drives.

USB, network and sound
The I / O panel provides HDMI 2.0b and DisplayPort 1.4 video outputs for image output via the processor's iGPU. A large number of USB ports are available for gaming peripherals. These include a USB 3.2 type C port (max. 20 Gbit / s), four USB 3.0 type A ports (max. 5 Gbit / s) and four USB 2.0 ports are available. The audio output is via a 3.5 mm jack plug, which is connected to the Realtek ALC897 onboard sound chip. There are also connections on the back for the WiFi antenna included in the scope of delivery.

The MAG B560 Tomahawk WiFi impresses with its monochrome design, which is suitable for a variety of builds. Visually, the mainboard comes into its own in combination with the integrated RGB lighting of the chipset heat sink. With the MSI Mystic Light RGB software, the RGB lighting can be individualized and synchronized with Mystic Light compatible products.
