Lian Li PC-O11 Air Midi Tower, Tempered Glass - Black [PC-O11AIR]

The black Lian Li PC-O11 Air Midi-Tower presents itself visually as a particularly elegant housing that combines stylish air inlets with tempered glass elements. Compared to its serial brothers, however, a special focus was placed on air cooling in this variant. To achieve this, Lian Li worked with overclocking guru Roman "der8auer" Hartung . Its logo is adorned on a plaque in the tidy interior of the case. What has remained is the two-chamber design of the ATX housing, which offers plenty of space for highly developed gaming components including excellent cable management and enables extensive air cooling to be installed.

Excellent airflow in the Lian Li PC-O11 Air

A total of up to twelve 120 mm fans fit into the Lian Li PC-O11 Air and there is also space for two 80 mm fans on the back . Accordingly, apart from the tempered glass side panel, the housing has been provided with plenty of air inlets that promote airflow. Three 120 mm fans can be attached to the front, or there is also space for two 140 mm fans. Lian Li has already pre-installed two 120 mm PWM fans there. The same layout applies to the lid. Three 120 mm fans can be installed on the floor and between the mainboard tray and the front. They then not only cool the inside of the case, but also the chamber behind the mainboard.

Of course, appropriate radiators can also be used instead of the fans. Overall, the case offers the option of accommodating up to four 360 mm radiators : one in the lid, one on the bottom and next to the mainboard. If four 360 mm radiators are to be installed at the same time, narrow copies would have to be used in the top and bottom and a slim radiator next to the mainboard. In general, the installation of three triple radiators is possible, but this requires a certain sense of proportion when choosing components for the custom water cooling. There is also the option of installing a 280 mm radiator in the lid .

Lots of space for hardware and drives
The Lian Li PC-PC-O11 Air Midi-Tower can accommodate a maximum of one E-ATX mainboard, a graphics card up to 420 mm long and a CPU cooler up to 155 mm high in the left chamber . The chamber behind the mainboard tray is not only used for cable management, it is also where the two optional power supplies are attached. The first power supply in ATX format is installed vertically in the lower area, above there is still space for a second ATX power supply if the HDD cage already placed there is dispensed with. Both power supplies can be up to 255 millimeters long. For a clean cable management there are several cable glands, some of which are rubberized, which are placed on the incline next to the mainboard.

Two 3.5-inch HDDs or, alternatively, 2.5-inch drives can be accommodated in the HDD cage. The two slots can be reached from the rear of the housing; they are covered by a perforated panel. Another 2.5-inch SSD and a 3.5-inch drive can be mounted on the back of the mainboard tray. There are also two 2.5-inch brackets that are screwed to the bottom of the right-hand side panel. A total of three 3.5-inch and six 2.5-inch data carriers can be installed in the Lian Li PC-O11 Air .

ATX case with elegant design with tempered glass
With the Lian Li PC-O11 Air Midi-Tower , 8 mm steel is skillfully combined with a side panel made of tinted tempered glass . Externally, Lian Li has adapted the design of the PC-O11 Air to the intended air cooling. The front and lid have wide ventilation slots, which are accentuated by stylish vertical struts. The right side part is provided with air inlets in a classic mesh shape, which are arranged lengthways in two separate rows. The back row is used to ventilate the power supply units, the front row ensures the airflow of the fans next to the mainboard tray. The back also has ventilation slots near the power supply units and also above the seven PCI slots.

TheLian Li PC-PC-O11 Air Midi-Tower stands slightly elevated on rubberized steel feet, so that cool air can get into the case through the dust filter base. Thanks to the chimney effect, the warm air rises to the top, where it escapes through the lid, which is also equipped with a dust filter. Two additional dust filters cover the two perforated grids in the right side part. The front is also provided with one of a total of five dust filters . The I / O panel is also located there on the side. In addition to two USB 3.0 slots, there is also a USB 3.1 port of the symmetrical type C, which eliminates the hassle of turning the USB connector. Of course, neither the usual audio slots nor the on / off switch are missing.
