Who wants to build an ultra-compact PC system usually has only the choice between different Barebones. This variability is severely limited, because many specifications can be hardly influenced more by the design as complete computers. The German manufacturer Impactics now proposing exactly this gap and offers a system with high flexibility.

In essence, it is a special case which is designed for passive cooling. For this purpose offers Impactics cooler for various motherboards, which transfer the heat via heat pipes to the housing, where it is discharged via lateral fins. Thanks to this modular system and the interchangeable components, the mini-housing is even with subsequent upgrading or Umrüstaktionen continue to be used (a new Coolset sufficient).

Details

This is a waterblock for the Gigabyte boards Z97N WIFI, WIFI-H97N, H81N and B85N in the most powerful standard version. It is specially adapted and are the heat of the CPU and the chipset further three heatpipes. These are supplied and are independently mounted. As counterparts are holding profiles of copper connecting the end portions of the heat pipes with aluminum fins of the case.

Notes: For mounting additional requires a sufficient amount of thermal paste. This is not included. The installation of the radiator also requires the installation of the stock cooler. This is accompanied by a loss of warranty, so the conversions done at your own risk.

The system is rather aimed at experienced PC users who have already assembled other systems.
