The RTX 2080 Super's TU104 graphics chip, based on the Turing architecture, is fabricated using the 12nm FinFET process and is responsible for the speed boost over the 10 series in addition to the GDDR6 graphics memory. For particularly realistic light and shadow effects, the used ray-tracing technology, which is also the reason for changing the name in GeForce RTX. In this super variant, the base clock was increased compared to the predecessor and the number of shader units (CUDA cores) increased from 2,944 to 3,072 and the ray tracing cores from 46 to 48.

The base clock of the INNO3D GeForce RTX 2080 Super iChill Black Edition is at 1650 MHz, but with a high load the graphics chip increases the clock rate via GPU Boost 4.0 but automatically up to 1.845 MHz boost clock. The innovative and very fast GDDR6 video memory clocks at 7,750 MHz (effectively 15,500 MHz), while the capacity of 8 GB VRAM make gambling at 4K resolution or virtual reality a real pleasure. The radiator uses AIO water cooling with a 240 mm radiator and two 120 mm fans with RGB LED lighting.
