The aim of the company is to reduce the garbage dumps of electronic devices and thus protect the environment, because "repair is recycling". With the help of the high-quality iFixit tools, electronic devices can be repaired by hand.

The iFixit iSlack is a specially designed tool for safely opening an iPhone 5S, 5C, 6 or 6 Plus. To do this, you only have to remove the pentalobe screws at the bottom of the iPhone and then push the iPhone with the screen up and the Homebutton in the direction of the handle into the iSlack tool. Then the suction cups on the top and bottom of the iPhone must be pressed. Now, the handles can be gently pressed to lift the display from the iPhone. Due to sensitive cable connections, however, this should not happen too jerkily.

Note: If the display is fragmented, the adhesive tape may be used to cover the defective display.
