The water coolers of the HEATKILLER® CPU series belong to the most well-known and best-selling CPU water coolers. Since the market launch of the first HEATKILLER® CPU water cooler in 2001, the model series has been steadily improved and optimized. The HEATKILLER® IV represents the most comprehensive development to date.

The biggest revision was the cooling structure. Thanks to refined microfine, the cooling medium now has a much larger contact area with the cooler. The flow behavior was also optimized. Compared to the predecessor model, these changes have allowed the cooling capacity to be increased by up to 3 ° C. The flow is also positively influenced. This is supported by large-volume collection channels. The HEATKILLER® IV has a true high-flow design, making it the perfect partner for low-performance pumps.

Incidentally, the new cooling structure does not require a nozzle plate. The waiver increases the passive failure safety of the cooler, since this concept can accumulate less dirt particles in the cooling structure.

Also with the equipment a lot has happened. The HEATKILLER® IV now has a comfortable easy-mount system. After the initial installation, the cooler can be mounted or dismantled without tools at any time. The motherboard does not need to be removed for this. The mounting system specifies the contact forces. A faulty installation is practically impossible.

Friends of larger connection systems will be pleased about the increased distance between the G1 / 4 "connection threads. This is now 25 mm. This makes the HEATKILLER® IV compatible with the common connection types, up to size 19/13.

The HEATKILLER® IV is a product "made in Germany", which is manufactured on a state-of-the-art CNC machine park at Watercool's headquarters.
