The B560 Aorus Pro AX in detail
The B560 Aorus Pro AX is an ATX motherboard with an Intel B560 chipset and provides a total of three PCIe x16 slots for expansion cards. The upper slot is connected directly to the CPU with a total of 16 lanes and supports PCIe 4.0. For CPUs of the 10th core generation, the slot is downward compatible with PCIe 3.0. Two additional PCIe x16 slots for expansion cards are connected to the chipset with PCIe 3.0. The upper of the two slots is electrically connected with four lanes, the lower one with one.

random access memory
Up to 128 GB DDR4 memory can be operated in four DIMM slots in dual-channel mode. The board supports RAM speeds of 3,200 MHz natively, clock rates of up to 5,333 MHz are possible via overclocking.

Drives
The B560 Aorus Pro AX offers three M.2 slots for SSDs. The upper slot is connected directly to the CPU via PCIe 4.0 and only works in connection with an Intel Core CPUs of the 11th generation; this slot cannot be controlled for CPUs of the 10th generation. The two lower slots are connected to the chipset via PCIe 3.0. Six SATA 6G connections are also available for additional SSDs, hard disks and optical drives.

USB, network and sound
With HDMI 1.4 and DisplayPort 1.2, the I / O panel provides a total of two video outputs for image output via the processor's iGPU. A USB 3.2 type C port, a USB 3.1 type A port, four USB 3.0 type A and two USB 2.0 ports are available for gaming peripherals. The audio output is via six 3.5 mm jack plugs, which are connected to the onboard sound chip ALC4080.

A LAN port with a maximum of 2.5 Gbit / s is available to establish a connection to the Internet. So that there are no limits to home connectivity, the motherboard also offers fast WLAN ax and Bluetooth 5.1 with the built-in Intel AX200 module.
