The Z390 Aorus Master G2 Edition motherboard (ATX) provides a total of three PCIe-x16 slots. One of them is connected to the chipset with a full 16 lanes, the others are connected with eight or four data lines. The motherboard offers three PCIe x1 slots for additional plug-in and expansion cards.

The four DIMM slots support up to 128 GB of DDR4 memory in dual-channel mode. The Z390 chipset natively supports clock rates of up to 2,666 MHz, but the O3 enables the Z390 Aorus Master G2 Edition to operate RAM kits up to 4,400 MHz. Six SATA 6G ports and three M.2 slots are available for hard drives and SSDs.

The Z390 Aorus Master G2 Edition has four USB 3.1 ports on the I / O panel, one with Type C and three with Type A socket.
