The Gigabyte B365M DS3H-Micro-ATX motherboard has a PCIe-x16 slot, which is connected to the chipset with a full 16 lanes. For plug-in and expansion cards, the board has a PCIe x1 slot and a PCIe 3.0 x4 slot.

The M.2 slot connected via four PCIe 3.0 lanes supports the NVMe protocol and, in combination with a corresponding M.2 SSD, enables a data transfer rate of just under 4 GB / s. This is about eight times faster than an SSD connected via SATA 6G! The slot can also be used with M.2 SATA SSDs. Additional drives such as SSDs, HDDs and optical drives can be connected via six SATA 3.0 ports. A maximum of 64 GB of RAM with a clock speed of up to 2,666 MHz can be accommodated in four DDR4 DIMM slots.
