This performance DDR4 memory clocks at 2,666 MHz at 1.2 volts during normal operation. With the automatically set XMP 2.0 profiles or with manual configuration, the Trident Z RGB in combination with a compatible mainboard achieve optimal performance values of up to 3,600 MHz and latencies of CL18-22-22-42 at 1.35 volts.

The DDR4 modules have black PCBs, which in this version are surrounded by stylish heat spreaders. On the side, G.Skill relies on gray or black coolers in a brushed aluminum look, which are supplemented by RGB lighting on the upper edge. The aluminum plates are relatively low and with a total height of 44 millimeters the Trident Z RGB fit under many expansive CPU coolers. With the DDR4 memory modules of the Trident Z RGB series, G.Skill presents its first RAM with RGB-LED lighting.
