Lots of space for hardware and well ventilated
The front of this case is again completely flat and without an I / O panel - the drives and the large air intake with fan at the bottom are concealed by the soundproof and now aluminum front door, which can be opened to the left or right can. The left side of the case is made of tempered glass to showcase the hardware. The I / O panel is attached to the top of the elegant case. The panel has two USB 3.0 ports, two USB 2.0 ports and two audio sockets, as well as the beautifully designed power button and an inconspicuous status LED.

The interior color of the housing can shine with a very good cooling and plenty of space for components. In addition to E-ATX with a PCB width of 285 millimeters, E-ATX, ATX, Micro ATX and Mini-ITX motherboards and seven expansion cards can also be installed horizontally in the housing. The vertical installation of a graphics card is possible, corresponding slots are available - a riser kit must be purchased separately.

Massive room for drives and soundproof
In addition to two holders for 2.5-inch drives on the back of the motherboard tray. On drive cages Fractal Design has omitted the Define R6. Instead, up to six decoupled brackets can be placed horizontally above and below the PCIe expansion cards behind the front. There are 3.5-inch or 2.5-inch drives without tools. A panel behind the glass window serves as a support and hides the drives. There is still room for a 5.25-inch drive in the front.

Thanks to the patented ModuVent design, the lid and dust filter can be fitted with or without a closed cover without tools. Thus, freedom from dust is guaranteed even with full fan equipment and the precious hardware remains visually absolutely new. Three Fractal Design Dynamic X2 GP-14 140-mm fans provide a very strong airflow from the factory and remain absolutely quiet. Seven additional fans can be mounted in the lid, front, bottom and side. They can be controlled by the built-in Nexus + Smart hub, which accommodates a total of six 3-pin and three 4-pin fans.

Many water cooling options
CPU coolers can be installed in the Fractal Design R6 with a height of up to 185 mm, power supplies with built-in floor fan up to 300 mm. Graphics cards with a built-in HDD cage can be 440 millimeters long, even if a fan on the front does its job. Broad they may be up to 155 millimeters. The design case also offers a variety of options for water cooling. Radiators up to size 420 in the lid and 360 in the front are possible here. In addition, the floor can be used for 120er / 240er and at the back there is a 120 mm radiator place.

The functionality is rounded off by a well thought-out cable management with appropriate rubber sheathings on the cable glands as well as firm Velcro closures.
