Fractal Design Core 2500 Midi-Tower - black [FD-CA-CORE-2500-BL]

The I / O panel is housed in the front section of the lid and is made of a power button, two USB 3.0 ports and a respective audio in / out port. The power button has been deposited with a white LED. The front is home to the two drive bays for the external 5.25-inch drives. Alternatively, internal 3.5-inch HDDs can be installed in place of the optical drive.

For hard drives, the Core has 2500 two drive cages, which can each accommodate up to two 2.5-inch SSD or 3.5-inch HDDs. Another 2.5-inch SSD can be installed behind the power supply. Graphics cards can be up to 430 mm long. An ATX power supply can be installed at the bottom of the back and can be up to 170 mm long, when a fan was installed in the ground. The midi tower can accommodate motherboards in ATX format and offers a maximum CPU cooler height of 185 mm.

The Core 2500 Midi-Tower has been designed to optimized to a good airflow and is connected with a pre-installed 120 mm fan with 1200 U / min. in the front (here, a further 140/120 mm fan to be installed) fitted and the rear. At the left part of another 140 mm fan can be installed. At the bottom there is a choice, either to install a 120 mm fan or to build in a 140-mm fan for a waiver of the lower HDD tray. The lid is also possible to install two 140 or 120 mm fan.

For water cooling the rear can accommodate a 120mm radiator and the front can accommodate a maximum of 280-mm dual radiator. An additional radiator may be mounted in the lid when the upper 23 mm of the mainboard accommodate any components that are greater than 34 mm and is mounted in the upper 5.25-inch drive bay no drive longer than 150 mm.

Behind the Mainboardtray with rubberized openings from 13.5 to 18.5 mm of space for a clean cable management available and the housing has several easy-to-clean dust filter.
