Details

It is the result of consistent development and innovation as well as numerous self-tests at Endgame Gear. The manufacturer took the feedback from the community to heart in particular and gave the XM1 RGB selected mechanical Kailh GM 4.0 buttons, large and easy-to-slide mouse skates and RGB lighting. In connection with the onboard memory and the optimized software, the combination of quality, precision and design makes the XM1 RGB the ultimate gaming mouse. Shine like never before!

The optical high-end sensor PixArt PMW3389 detects movements with high precision even at a speed of up to 11.43 meters per second (450 IPS) and makes it possible to keep control of the game in every hectic situation. A short lift-off distance of 2 millimeters ensures that low-sense players can easily move and re-center the mouse without accidentally playing the game.

The LOD can also be increased to 3 millimeters using software. Thanks to the patented analog technology and the built-in 32-bit STM ARM Cortex-M0 MCU microcontroller, the internal signal processing latency of the buttons remains below a millisecond, which in combination with the Kailh GM 4.0 switches ensures an unprecedented click speed.

Kailh GM 4.0 button for the ideal click feeling
High quality components for continuous use
The Endgame Gear XM1 RGB has a total of five mouse buttons and a dedicated profile switch. The mechanical and specially selected Kailh GM 4.0 switches of the two main buttons are an exclusive custom-made product for the Endgame Gear XM1 RGB and are designed for extreme loads and 60 million clicks. Long durability and perfect feedback with every click are guaranteed.
On the left side of the right-handed mouse there are two function keys that can be reached with the thumb. In addition to the two main buttons, there is also the clickable mouse wheel on the top, which is very easy to grip thanks to the rubber coating. This relies on a tactile switch, which thanks to the lower release force of just 75 grams is noticeably smoother and reacts faster.

XM1 RGB: lighting in three zones
RGB lighting with 14 LEDs in three zones
The XM1 RGB was given a total of 14 RGB LEDs in three lighting zones. The mouse wheel, the logo and the RGB ring on the bottom of the mouse can shine in 16.7 million colors and be individually set and controlled with the software. A total of five lighting modes with different effects as well as four brightness levels for endless configuration options are available.

Resource-saving and versatile software
Precise gaming is possible with the Endgame Gear XM1 RGB because gamers can customize the mouse thanks to the extensive setting options. The functional software adopts the slim design philosophy of the product. It is limited to the essentials and therefore does not affect the performance of the system. If desired, the software enables the additional keys to be reassigned and even keyboard entries to be assigned. Using the software, four CPI profiles can be stored in the mouse's onboard memory, which can be called up via the profile switch on the underside of the mouse.

Briefly pressing the button switches through the CPI profiles - 400, 800, 1,600 and 3,200 CPI are preset here. A long press changes through the three defined polling rate levels. The CPI value can be adjusted by software in steps of 50 from 50 CPI to 16,000 CPI and is indicated by the LED color of the indicator LEDs on the underside of the mouse assigned to the profile slot. The three selectable levels of the USB query rate are also indicated by the two display LEDs on the underside of the mouse (both light up = 1,000 Hz, right LED = 500 Hz, left LED = 250 Hz).

CPI OR DPI?
CPI or counts per inch - in English point density - is actually the correct term for the guidance accuracy of a mouse. Although the term DPI has become established almost everywhere as a unit of measurement, dots per inch is, strictly speaking, the measure of the level of detail in printers, digital cameras or screens. There the unit indicates the number of individual points that are placed in a line next to each other in one inch. In CPI, on the other hand, the number of steps that a sensor registers when the mouse is moved an inch is measured.
The surface with Dry Grip coating is slightly roughened and thus ensures a firm grip - an immense advantage when the hands get a little damp in heated battles. At the same time, the ergonomically perfect shape prevents overstressing of the wrist and ensures maximum comfort even during prolonged use. The design of the mouse is suitable for both the claw, palm and finger grip.
The Endgame Gear XM1 RGB weighs only about 78 grams and the 1.85 meter long cable is particularly flexible. The large, noiseless and low-friction PTFE skates with a height of 0.8 mm ensure undisturbed gliding. They reduce the tiring effect of repeated, rapid movements and thus help to maintain high pointer accuracy over the long term. Thanks to the large mouse skates, the gaming mouse can slide particularly smoothly - the difference is particularly clear on soft mouse pads.

Flexible and braided cable for unrestricted mouse movements
Braided Endgame Gear Flex Cord Cable
The XM1 RGB has an extremely light and flexible cable. These properties gave it the name Flex Cord. The braided cable also allows extremely tight bending radii. In order to further reduce the cable pull, the strain relief of the XM1 RGB is angled upwards to create enough space between the cable and the surface. This makes mouse movements feel unrestricted and almost wireless. A ferrite bead at the end of the flex cord reduces signal noise.
