High quality components for optimal performance
Similar to the preference for the click feeling, the question of how a gaming mouse should glide is a science in itself and also depends on the preferred game genre. The OP1 8K has a so-called hybrid skate design. This means that a smaller skate set is attached to the mouse from the factory, offering a great balance of surface area, weight and gliding properties. Additionally, Endgame Gear adds a larger skate set and a sensor skate to the package contents, which is particularly beneficial for softer mouse pads.

If you want to minimize the surface area of your mouse skates, for example for use on a glass pad, the OP1 8K's large skate cutouts offer many options for using your favourite skates. The screws in the base plate can be loosened to open the mouse and change the main key switches without having to remove the skates.
