Edifier Studio 980T 2.0 System - Black [980T]

The manufacturer Edifier wants to change this with its new speaker systems - thanks to the latest technology, a great sound quality and an optics that is second to none!

In addition to sound systems with impressively large subwoofers (30 kg!) Edifier also offers the opposite - small but fine stereo speakers that deliberately do without a separate low bass box. The 980T is designed as a pure 2.0 stereo system and optimized for a particularly neutral image. This is especially recommended for playing music.

Externally, the two boxes are more reminiscent of compact hi-fi models. And indeed, the design features are largely borrowed from this genre. The 4-inch bass drivers produce 21 watts (RMS), while the tweeter uses a 13-mm silk model.

Wood (MDF) serves as a raw material for the housing and, in addition to a stiff structure, at the same time lends a noble appearance. A magnetic shield ensures effective protection of surrounding electronics, so that the 980T can also stand next to a PC. The sensitive speakers are each protected by a cover.

Two stereo sources can be connected. That's why there are four RCA connectors on the rear panel as well as two rotary knobs that allow access to volume, bass and treble.
